SURPRISED? TRACT

Back Side:

Many people "say" they are a Christian, but Jesus warned that many of these would be cast from His presence on the Day of Judgment (Matt 7:21-23). They will be surprised.....will you?  According to the Bible, the evidence of true conversion is not outward religious activity; it is an inner change of heart. For example, since conversion, have you noticed a new affection for God (1 John 4:19) and for God’s people (1 John 4:20)? Are you aware of a struggle between the newly indwelling Spirit of God and your flesh that did not exist prior to your conversion (Gal 5:17)? When you stray from the path of God, do you sense God disciplining you to bring you back on the right path (Heb 12:5-11)? Why do you believe that you are "saved"? Are you trusting in Jesus (John 3:36)? Examine yourself before it's too late.

Tips for Use:

This Gospel tract is designed for those who "say" they are a Christian.  If they say they are a Christian, they should not be alarmed when you hand them this tract and say, "Hey, did you see this?  I read it the other day and thought it was pretty interesting... You can have this one."

This tract has the intent of stirring the hearts in one of the greatest fields of evangelism today…..those within “professing Christianity”!  In America, for example, 83% of the citizens “profess” to be a Christian (According to Barna research).  However, there is no passion for God and there is little difference between many “professing Christians” and the world.  Obviously, something does not match up…. Like good soldiers, we must choose weapons that are appropriate for the field of battle.  This tract highlights Scriptures that will help individuals to "examine" themselves as to whether or not they are in the faith - something we are ALL told to do (2 Corinthians 13:5).  It is my prayer that this Gospel tract will be an effective tool in preparing the hearts of individuals so that they will be receptive to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
